Big changes observed in national hockey selection committee
Lahhore: (Thursday 17, 2015) A controversial situation is observed regarding hockey from the last couple of week and now big changes are observed in national hockey selection committee.
Shahbaz junior who has spent just 18 days on his post is dismissed and Qasim Khan is appointed on that post. Rememebr that after defeat from the World hockey league and kicked out from Olympics Brigadier ( R ) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar has take over the chairmanship of Pakistan hockey federation. He constructed a new committee under the supervision of Rasheed Junior in which Farhat Khan, Saeed Khan, Waseem Feroz and Shahbaz Junior was included. But the amazing thing is that after 18 days one committee member Shahbaz junior was kicked out from the committee.
Former international hockey player Qasim Khan will now appointed on the vacant post. He started his international career in 1984 and ended in 1995. During his career he participated in world cup, Asia cup, 5 champion’s trophies, Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and 125 international events. He is appointed as SSP in Punjab Police.
Chief selector Rasheed Junior along with other selector will pick best player at Naseer Banda hockey stadium Islamabad which will participate in the 5th Sultan of Johar Junior Hockey Tournament started in Malaysia from October 11, 2015
