Faisalabad: (October 2, 2015) Vice Chancellor of University of Agriculture met with Chinese delegation while celebration National day of China and said that we have to learn from Chinese economy and expertise.
Vice Chancellor (VC) University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) further said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will not only address Pakistani economy but also resolve social issues. It provides job opportunities; alleviate poverty and helps in food security. He also said that china is excelling in research which is amazing America. Our 500 students have visited to China for research and UAF is working with 13 institutions of China in research and academia.
On the other hand Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan, Parliamentary secretary in Finance also attended the ceremony. He said that under CPEC China is investing 48 billion dollars in Pakistan and government is trying to resolve the problems which are becoming hurdle between China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He further added that two dams will be constructed to mitigate the electricity shortage and we are seeing 6% push in the Pakistani economy due to CPEC.
