Eid ul Azha in PAK will be on Oct 6: Zil Haj moon not sighted
KARACHI: The Pakistan’s Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee’s meeting has bee ended. Crescent moon have not sighted in Pakistan tonight for the commencement of Islamic month of Zil Haj.
It has been officially announced by chairman Ruet-e-Hila Committee, Mufti Muneer ur Rehman that the crescent has not been seen today so 1st Zil Haj will be on September 26 across Pakistan.
Meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was organised in Karachi today and Mufti Muneebur Rehman chair the meeting for Eid-ul-Adha moon sighting in different parts of the country but no evidence received till the end of meeting.
Muslims living in the world celebrate Eid ul Azha on 10th of Zilhaj every Islamic year to remember Hazrat Ibrahim and his sacrificial act.
On Eid ul Azha, Muslims will sacrifice goats, cows and camels and will distribute the meat among he needy people. The Eid continues for 3 consecutive days and is celebrated will zeal and zest.
There is very less chances of Zil Haj moon to be sighted in Pakistan today, said by the officials of Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Eid vocations are expected to be from 6th October to 8th October, 2014.
