Facebook Silences Jamaat-e-Islami Page Over Kashmir Posts
Jamaat-e-Islami is voicing against the brutalities being conducted on Kashmiri people by Indian Army in the Indian Occupied Kashmir on every platform.
The Jamaat-e-Islami official Facebook page posted some content in the favour of Kashimis fighting for their independence and against the cruelty of the Indian Army.
Facebook has blocked the official Facebook page of Jamaat-e-Islami, reported. Jamaat-e-Islami zonal page for KPK and the Jamaat-e-Islami Women wing page was also discontinued by Facebook.
It is claimed that the Official Facebook Page of Jamaat-e-Islami, an Islamic political organization, had over 3 million likes before it was reportedly silenced today, the other two pages being removed yesterday. Facebook also suspended the Facebook accounts of the page administrators, about two dozen in number. The news has been confirmed by the Head of Social Media Department Jamat-i-Islami “Mr. Shamsuddin Amjad”.
Before this Facebook has blocked many official pages of other personalities as well that have been restored successfully after requesting to Facebook.
Update: As per latest news from online desk, the age has been restored and is working normally.
