Heavy Rain in Lahore: Breaks 10 years record

LAHORE: It is reported by The News Tribe that a heavy rain has broken the record of 10 years after measuring 155 millimeter raining in the Punjab’s capital city Lahore. Wednesday was the day when rain started in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Rawalpindi, Mianwali, Sahiwal, Daska, Okara and others cities of Punjab province.

Faisalabad is a city where our reporter didn’t observe such a heavy rain in last five years. Many areas of Lahore including Gulberg, Samanabad, Gulshan Ravi, Lakshmi Chowk and some others cities have been drowned in rain from last three days.

It is added by Met office that rain will continue for two to three days in these areas.

At least 18 people including two women were killed as roof collapse and short circuit of electricity.

According to reports, more than 30 people have been killed so far because of heavy rain in different cities of Punjab.

Rain causes destruction in various cities of Punjab. Many people of Punjab have been suffered with great losses due to rain.
