Imran Khan to become the Prime Minister of Pakistan
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has won the General Elections 2018 in Pakistan whereby unofficial results have shown that the party can make the government in federal with the help of independent candidates. The official results of GE-2018 are being complied and are issued by the ECP.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has setup an online platform with the name of “Result Management System (RMS)” which is currently (11PM, 26 July 2018) showing the following part position:
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf: 77, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz): 42, PPPP: 16, Independent: 7, MMAP: 4, PML: 2, MQM (Pakistan): 1, ANP: 1, BNP: 1, GDA: 1
The party position is clear that the previous ruling party (PML-N) lost this time. The situation is not so different in provincial results of Punjab Assembly.
This afternoon, Imran Khan appeared in front of media and delivered his first speech today stating that his vision for his tenure. He covered all issues related to foreign policy, economic crisis, unemployment etc. He also focused on resolving issues with India through dialogue.
