The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore has started rechecking process of papers of candidates. A huge number of complaints were raised by the candidates challenging the marking of papers.
The Chief Minister has also taken notice of the issue and a CM Punjab Inspection Committee is looking into the issue of wrong marking of papers. The whole process of rechecking will be undertaken by the Board authority and no fee has been obtained from the candidates.
Chairman BISE Lahore Professor Chaudhary Ismaeel said that the process will take a long time as the number of application are much than expected in general routine.
The Lahore Board offered free rechecking for Part-I Intermediate students after the issue was highlighted in protests by the students of Lahore.
