KARACHI: As the nation marks first anniversary of heart wrenching incident of APS Peshawar that took place on December 16th last year, Sindh government has also announced public holiday today on 16th December, 2015.
Notification of holiday has been issued by Sindh home department in late hours of Tuesday. According to notification government schools and offices will be remain closed.
Earlier, Punjab and KPK governments had also announced holiday on first anniversary of this tragic incident. KPK Government has issued a notification of public holiday in Peshawar, District of KPK, Pakistan.
It is to be kept in mind that terrorist stormed in the APS Peshawar on December 16, 2014, opened the fire on the students and took lives of more than 140 students, teachers and other school staff.
Meanwhile, contrary to expectations, Balochistan has yet not made any announcement regarding holiday on 16th December.
