The Federal Public Service Commission has declared the result of written portion of competitive examination 2016 stating the pass percentage as 2.09%. This is one of the worst ever results with respect of pass percentage in the CSS examinations.
The figures released by FPSC reveal that 20,717 candidate applied for CSS Examination (Written), however, only 9,643 appeared int eh papers held in February 2016. Only 46.5% candidates opt for appearing in examination to avoid the loss of chance as the issue of age relation in CSS examination was underway during that period.
The Ministry for Planning had thereafter got approval in relaxation of age limit for CSS Examination from 2017 onward. The notification has also been issue din this regard. Mostly, the aspirants of CSS dropped their papers so that they may avail their chance in coming years.
The numbers of candidates who have passed the CSS examination are just 202 out of 9,643 who appeared in the examination. This is merely 2.09% of the the appearing candidates which is a disgraceful result. The successful candidates will now undergone for Medical Examination, then for Psychological Assessment and in the last for Viva Voce and final selectin list will announced in due course of timely the FPSC.
