UoG security chief Son “Raja Umair” Passes away
UoG: Raja Umair, a first-year student, has passed away shortly after an accident on Wednesday 5th October, 2016.
The 18-year-old son of Maj. (retd) Raja Umar, security chief of the University of Gujrat (UoG), has passed away on Wednesday 5th October, 2016 after a road accident.
Raja Umair, a first-year student, was seriously injured in an accident on Gujrat-Jalalpur Jattan Road late on Saturday. He was admitted to CMH Khariyan where he remained in a state of coma till he succumbed to his injuries earlier today. The burial and prayers will take place at 11am today (Thursday, Oct 6) at Karore, the family’s ancestral village, 38km from Rawalpindi. The route is from Khanna Pul (Bridge) – Pinstec, left from Chirah Chowk, Simly Dam.

Burial and Prayers will take place 11:00 AM at family village Karorr near Rawalpindi Kotali Satian Road.
UOG shall provide transport to mourners. Transport will be available at 6:30am (Thursday, Oct 6) for those wishing to attend the burial prayers (Janaza) at Karore. (Rawalpindi).
