Abu Dabhi: Video Highlights of Misbah-ul-Haq’s fastest fifty record in 2nd test match against Australia has been uploaded. Misbah-ul-Haq is the new master blaster of the cricket. He has broken the record of West Indian legend Viv Richards for the fastest-ever Test century.

This was the day 4 game when Misbah ul Haq socored 101 on just 56 balls. He made two records during his 2nd test agaist australia. First he scored fifty runs on just 21 balls and broke the 28 years old record and then made 101 runs on 56 balls.

He no more baba-e-Tuk Tuk now. He will be known as fastest fifty and fastest century record holder in test cricket now.

Misbah, who was express contempt for his slow scoring rate, not only scored the fastest half century in terms of deliveries against Australia but also in terms of time spent on the crease. He spent just 23 minutes and played 21 devilries for his fifty. He, The captain of national team, hit four sixes and four boundaries to reach his fifty.

The previous record for fastest half-century:

  1. South Africa’s Jacques Kallis, scored off 24 balls against Zimbabwe at Cape Town in 2004.
  2. Bangladesh’s Mohammad Ashraful held the record for the fastest fifty in 27 minutes against India in 2007.
